Over the last few Years, E.U. Regulations have become more and more a part of our industry. Following the concerns with some ingredients of tattoo colours, required certificates of content are now common place. Then there was microbiological content of colours and preservatives used. Now the concerns are heading toward acceptable shelf life of a bottle of ink.

We at starbrite have worked endlessly at setting the standards, not just complying with them. We embarked on a program of lab testing that lasted nearly a year to calculate the irradiation process to offer STERILE COLOURS.

We are aware that in the near future SINGLE USE bottles will be required. This will remove shelf life issues and reduce the possibility of cross contamination between customers.

After much consultation with artists and studios we dismissed many possibilities of what carriers we should use for the ink. We decided upon reducing the bottle size to the smallest practical size. This would enable the artist to use the ink in a conventional way without the mess other SINGLE USE carriers create.

They come in 1/4oz sterile packs of 10 per colour and once opened should be used that day.
